2003 Ford Explorer Rear Turn signals AND brake lights not working, still have normal tail light?

Noticed a while back Id be turning left and with thr left indicator on it would be flashing faster than normal. Changed the rear bulbs to try and fix It. Went away for awhile and then both indicators tarted flashing faster. And just recently my friend let me know he couldnt see my braking or turning (upper brake light on rear still is working.)

DO NOT HAVE MANUAL.

The 2003 Ford Explorer (whatever trim level you own) manual is online for free. It downloads rather easily. Next, if this vehicle needs professional repairs as to this issue, go find an auto repair shop. The electrical system of a car is subject to heat, cold, aging, damage and other electrical issues. Only a mechanic could repair this problem.

  • Why are my blink lights / brake lights working? I have a 72 Ford f100 and the rear left turn signal, brake ligh, hazard light isn't working. The light workings for "running lights " but does not blink or light up when I press the brake. I replaced the bulb. I don't know where to start
  • 1992 ford ranger tail light not working? 1992 ford ranger, the rear running lights don't come on when i turn the headlights on. They use the same bulb as the brakes and the turn signals but both of those works, there's no voltage coming through the wire that is for the running lights when the switch is on, however the license plate lights both have 12.18V coming through and they light up. Could it be the wire has frayed over time? If not what else could it be?
  • Headlights, instrument cluster lights, tail lights, and dome light all stopped working at once? 1995 Mustang GT convertible, fuses are good, switch is good. I'm about to do a voltage drop test on it tomorrow but I wanted to see if you Ford guys knew something that I'm overlooking.
  • 2011 ford fusion no working tail lights? Brake lights and turn signals work. Bulbs have been changed and all known fuses have been changed… What could be the problem
