Headlights, instrument cluster lights, tail lights, and dome light all stopped working at once?
1995 Mustang GT convertible, fuses are good, switch is good. I'm about to do a voltage drop test on it tomorrow but I wanted to see if you Ford guys knew something that I'm overlooking.
When the car has many failures like this and the circuits were not really "Connect" or integrated, I would start testing/ checking with the Power and Ground distribution diagrams, then go to each system, do the same thing then see what they have in common in power and Ground and then start the troubleshooting for each system.
You have not provided enough information like which fuse, fusible link etc has been replaced or checked. You even did not say what did you do a Voltage drop on or specified how all of those system or lights reacted.
What else are not working on the car? What happen or being done prior things shot to.he**? Any added system before hand?
Check the fuses under the hood
- What's the difference between the map light and dome light? I have a 2003 Ford Taurus SES sedan. I want to put LED interior lights. I was looking it up and I has dome and map lights? So I looked up the difference and the only thing that kept showing was the overhead dome housing?
- Where is the ground wire on a ford ranger instrument cluster? Instrument cluster died on 93 ranger. I'm told its the ground wire but I have no idea where its located. What I'm looking for is the specific location where the ground wire comes loose.
- 1992 ford ranger tail light not working? 1992 ford ranger, the rear running lights don't come on when i turn the headlights on. They use the same bulb as the brakes and the turn signals but both of those works, there's no voltage coming through the wire that is for the running lights when the switch is on, however the license plate lights both have 12.18V coming through and they light up. Could it be the wire has frayed over time? If not what else could it be?
- 2011 ford fusion no working tail lights? Brake lights and turn signals work. Bulbs have been changed and all known fuses have been changed… What could be the problem
