I need to know where the gas reset switch is at on a ford expedition 1989?
YOU'RE WELCOME!
Many ford trucks and SUV's have the fuel pump inertia switch in the passenger side foot well or against the firewall near the transmission tunnel. In the event of a serious collision or driving on very rough roads would be enough for the inertia switch to trip as first checking for any fuel leaks then reaching to the switch as resetting the switch would allow the engine to start.
- Entire car loses power when we floor the gas. Gauges reset until we let off gas. (still drives) 02 ford mustang. The car loses power to everything. (Except what's needed for the vehichle to stay running.) Can still drive it. What are possible problems? (AC does not affect anything )
- Need to know what type of transmission I need for my 2007 ford Fusion S Automatic 2.3L vin 3FAHP06Z07R246616? I need to replace the transmission due to 3rd gear went out but not sure what transmission I need. Was told that it might cost $3000 to repair. Any input will be appreciated.
- Will a triton v8 from a ford expedition fit in my 1989 thunderbird? Not gonna do it sense it's the family ford expedition I'm eyeballing, but just wanted to know if I would be able to drop it in… Would mounts be right? Would it connect to the Tranny righy? And would it even fit?
- 1989 ford econoline e-350 I can start the van by jumping solenoid but not by the ignition switch? I replaced the ignition starter switch with no luck what could be the problem, also my solenoid and starter was tested as being good.
