I have a 99 ford expedition… Turn the key and one loud clunk?
I have replaced the battery, 2 starters, terminals are clean, turned the engine flywheel to make sure it is not seized but when i try to start it, the starter engages and it just seems the starter doesn't have enuff to turn the flywheel. It has a new battery but under load it won't turn it over. I have also bypassed the solenoid on the firewall at it does the same thing… Clunk!
- Loud clunk/bang when I turn right at the same times as going over a bump? When I turn right at the same time as going over a bump I get a very loud clunk… I have changed the drop links and wishbones, yet the problem persists. Its a 2006 Ford StreetKa Any suggestions appreciated.
- If I have a 2008 Mercury Mariner and have the key below could I use the standard key and remote? What I mean by standard remote and key is like the ones Ford, Mecury, and Lincoln came out with at first with just a remote and key. Also how would an extra key cost like the one in the picture above? Would it be cheaper to do the the standard key and remote?
- I have a 2000 Ford Windstar that won't start. When I turn the key all I hear is a clunk noise? Battery good, starter good, cables good, fuel system good. No indication before hand that anything was going bad. One morning just went to start and NOTHING.
- I have a Ford F150. I'm thinking about going to walmart and get a key copy, and it has a chip. Will the key they provide me start the car? It's a 2007 model by the way. It has a chip on the key, and I was wondering if the cloned car key they give me be able to start the car up.
