You have a firing problem. Turn the key on and not start it listen for for the fuel pump to hum if it doesn't it could be fuel pump. But if that's not it try replacing the coil, spark plugs, and plug wires
Hi not so surprising given the age of this model. They are always needing spares as they are a cheap car.
- Ford Focus transmission light on, turns over but won't start? I recently replaced my ignition coil due to a misfire. Ran fine for 2 weeks, today I hit a bump and the tranny/motor shook and it stalled, started it back up and it was misfiring and ran for 30-40 feet then stalled again. Now it won't start at all when I try to start it the transmission warning light comes on (gear with! In the middle). It turns over but won't start.
