Where to put water in engine? Ford escape hybrid 07?

I'm a girl totally ignorant on car stuff. Where do I put water in the engine of my car? And what else should I check for regularly besides oil changes. I do these myself. Would anyone please label this picture for me?

One or both of the two clearish plastic reservoirs on the left of the picture (with the yellow fluid) is likely where the coolant goes. Check the cap to make sure that's what the label says. Make sure it's a 50% coolant to 50% water mix.

Not to be judgmental but at the bottom left there's the windshield washer fill cap. Limit yourself to that.

No owners manual? If not, then you need to get one online ( usually free )

to answer you - in the photo: on the left it looks like there are 2 coolant reservoirs - not sure why there's 2 - that is where coolant is fed into ; to the right of those is the oil cap for adding oil ; to the right, and rear, is the reservoir for the brake fluid - has a black cap with hose attached to the top ; as far as the dipsticks for oil, transmission - they are either not shown in that photo or are under the plastic cover that goes over the top of the engine… Again, the manual is your best friend ;]

NEVER put water in your car. Use coolant pre-mixed 50-50. Put it in the coolant recovery tank, which is clearly identified. Make sure it is the correct coolant for your car. The auto parts people can guide you on this.

My Prius hybrid has TWO coolant tanks. One is for the inverter, and one is for the engine.
