Why does water build up in water reservoir?
Car is ford focus sedan 2003 1.6engine
So we changed the water reservoir recently and now water builds up in the reservoir.
Replace the radiator cap. If it does not have one, make sure you service the coolant to the correct level when the engine is cold.

The reservoir tank is a surge tank. When the radiator gets hot it will send a little water to the surge tank. When the radiator cools off it will suck some back into the radiator. It sounds like yours is working properly. There's a level mark on the surge tank which is wear you should fill to.
Coolant was serviced too. Water goes in reservoir and does not go out? The cap is sealed tight and water fills the reservoir completely after short drive. It does not recede so I had to drain manually.
Since this occurred after changing reservoir it likely we have a pressure leak in system. E.g. Hose not tight> cap not sealing? A new pressure cap may be worth investing in.
if it was occurring before we changed reservoir? Then its likely we have a head gasket issue.
- On ford, chvey and dodge websites it says build and price how does it work? On ford, chvey and dodge websites it says build and price, i know you can just get a car from your local dealership but how would the build and price way you want work if you did it from the chevy, ford and dodge website.
- When i brake the fluid reservoir tank seems to blow air from the inside? I have a 2002 ford mustang and the brakes go really low when i use them and sometimes hit the bottom and it doesn't even brake. I noticed when i press the brakes it makes a air sound as if you re taking air out of a inflatible ball and under the hood the tank where you put the brake fluid into, bubbles blow up as if its getting air from inside the master cylinder. I'm assuming getting a master cylinder would fix it but i want to make sure that it can't be any other problem

- I dropped something into my car's coolant reservoir? I have a 2008 ford mustang. Yesterday there was a coolant level low light on, so I went to my nearest dealership and picked up a gallon of coolant. While pouring the coolant into the reservoir, a piece of foil (the foil seal you break when you buy it) about the size of a quarter fell into my reservoir. After an hour of trying to fish it out and find it, I gave up. Today I tried again but the piece of foil was not there anymore. What should I do?
