Oldest a used car should be bought?
I plan to buy a car (used) in the near future. I primarily wanted to buy a Ford Escape Hybrid 2012 but will probably switch to an all gas SUV (because I LOVE SUV). What's the oldest a used car should be?
Added (1). WHen I say old I mean how many years the car has been in use.
My girlfriends dad daily drives a 79 bronco
Mine is a 94 model.
Really is a pretty stupid question.
Don't buy anything over 3 years old and over 60,000 miles.
You can try looking at a Subaru XV Crosstrek. It's there SUV type car and is also offered with a hybrid engine.
- Front Bumper is gone on the used car I just bought. How much to fix it? Is it safe to drive? I just bought a used car for $1300 the only issues with it our the rear suspension needs to be fixed and the front fender is missing completely. There's no metal at all and no cover so the bottom half of the radiator is exposed. Its an 02 ford Taurus and I'm wondering how much a complete new bumper is going to cost like a ball park estimate? And is it safe to drive it without the front bumper temporarily?
- Looking to buy a car privately which hasn't been serviced in 4 years but only 9000km (they bought the car brand new)? As above. the car is a Ford EcoSport 1.5 titanium it has 9000km only but they say they've never had it serviced? should I stay away from this car? also, since there's no service history could this be a case of odometer roll back fraud?
- Just bought a new truck, but wish I would have bought the Ford instead I put 8000 down and the first payment is due next week. Would it be wise to trade it just keep it for awhile?
- I just bought a ford fusion yesterday, and as soon as we bought it they notified us of a recall on it? Does anyone know of other recalls on this vehicle that we need to know about? the recall they just fixed was the most recent one with the power steering
