2008 Ford Escape drivers seat is automatic and won't move forward but moves up, down, and backwards?
I have a 2008 Ford Escape where only the drivers seat is motor controlled. Just tried to move my seat forward after cleaning and it will only go backwards up or down. It's now stuck too far back from the pedals. What is the problem? How can I fix this without shelling out hundreds at a ford dealer?
If you know how to reboot the system that will probably solve it.
- 1985 Ford Mustang drivers seat does not stay upright? I have a 1985 Ford Mustang Foxbody, the drivers seat will not stay upright, it was to constantly lay back. How could I fix this without having to go find a new seat? I may have to get a new seat I understand.
- I have a 2007 Ford Five hundred that when I shift when it's off it moves. But when I turn the car on & shift it won't move It's a TBS transmission. It's not making any noise either. I was told it could be computer on the transmission?
- Why Won't My Ford Focus 2010 Diesel Automatic move? I have brought a ford focus 2010 Diesel Automatic from salvage auction, the vehicle had sustained damage to the front end especially the front passenger side, the drive shift was broke so replaced that however the vehicle still won't move. The gears change on the gear box without a problem but still does not move and when you put the gear in D the engine revs very loud for some reason but still no movement. If anyone can help with what the fault maybe please let me know.
- I have a 2005 Ford Focus and whenever I start the engine or accelerate the engines moves Just as above the engine moves noticeably up and forward in the engine bay, I haven't noticed any unusual vibrations or clunking, could this be the lower motor/torque mount, or is this normal for this car?
