I'd assume it's where pretty much every other manufacturer locates the HVAC intake… At the base of the windshield
It's just below the windshield on the passenger side.
Just about every vehicle I've ever worked on has the air intake at the base of the windshield where the vents louvers are.
The air intake when set to recirculate is under the dash.
1. No 6.3L engine was available in 2011.
2. The HVAC system gets air from the grille at the base of the windshield, it's black and plastic.

- Why does my cold air intake make my car super slow? I bought a cold air intake for my 2015 ford taurus put it on and lost power alot of power. I didn't use the normal air intake tubing i stayed with the tubing that comes in the car and put a filter at the end and reconnected the one sensor. Now my friend did this to his car and it gave him more power i don't know why mine loses power

When we trie to start it, it sounds good like its about to start but stops when air blows out of the air intake. The distributer was not removed and the plug wires and spark plugs are right, baterey is good. What did we do wrong? Why will it not start?
