No, you should ck, the vent to make sure its open.
It's probably vacuum, not pressure, and the answer is yes, a little is normal. The lower the fuel level, the greater it becomes.
If the truck takes fuel, there's nothing wrong with your truck. Opening the cap will normally produce a slight whoosh sound.
- 2003 ford taurus ses sedan 3.0L OHV (vin: U) Loose fuel cap warning light (yellow light)? My "loose fuel cap warning light" is on inside my car. I had the gas cap replaced and no codes show up on the OBDII scan tool. What could cause the light to stay on?
- 2002 ford taurus coolant bubbling out of coolant tank cap? Coolant is bubbling out of the tank cap on my taurus. The coolant is a bit over the fill to line. The coolant is the normal green color. I don't think it having a bit of extra coolant in the tank is doing this. The cap itself maybe? I just bought this car and it didn't do this until today.
- My 1999 ford ranger has 20 lbs of pressure on the fuel line. Do i need a fuel pump? After I tested the pressure and shut the motor off the pressure went down to 0 quick. When I just turn the key I don't get any pressure
- Is it bad to have check engine light on for too long? Trouble code P1450: Unable to bleed up fuel tank vacuum? My check engine light came on in my 2015 Ford Focus SE a couple days ago and I went to autozone to see what the problem was, and it said it was trouble code p1450 and it's unable to bleed up fuel tank vacuum, and the solution is to replace evaporative emissions. I won't have any money to go get it fixed until Christmas, which I'm supposed to be spending in Chicago and I'm driving 6 hours. Is it safe to drive 6 hours straight and wait about a week to get this fixed?
