Can you jump a truck with two batteries?

Can you still jump a truck with two batteries with a gas-powered car? I have a 05 ford f-250 super duty diesel that has 2 batteries to start the engine and heat up the glow plugs. The truck was able to start just fine a couple days ago but now it won't even start because of maybe drawing too much amperage or whatever…

so can anyone tell me the step-by-step process of how to jump my truck with a gasoline car if possible?

Yes, assuming the jumping battery has suficent power

Your diesel truck has auxilary batteries to run all the accessories in it. Its not going to matter which battery you connect it to, id assume both are in parallel anyway. The reason why a jump works from one car to another is because the alternator produces a significant amount of amps by turning the alternator (much greater than just your two batteries sitting there). These additional amps are required to turn your starter, allegedgly your batteries are on the way out and with the cold they are struggling to produce the chemical reaction to start the truck. Simple answer, pull your car next to the truck connect the cables as you would jump any other car (black positive red negative) and turn the key let glows heat up. And staart the vehicle.

That is just a 12 V system, even with two batteries. You will jump it just like any other vehicle, ignoring the other battery. You obviously will need a heavy duty jumper cable to do any good. Otherwise, charge the batteries in the truck, or replace the bad batteries.
