Are lifted trucks illegal in Germany?
Added (1). I just want to put some 54 inch Mickey Thompson Banja tires on my Ford F350. Will it be illegal? But the allowed height in germany is 4M. The truck WILL BE 3.2. Anyways. Will it be illegal? I moveing house, to germany, that's why i want to know.
Every vehicle has to be inspected by an engineer who evaluates every little item. You can't even put another brand of tires on a car unless it has either manufacturer clearance or has been signed off by an engineer who puts his job on the line for it. Further regulated is the maximum height of the headlights. The Dodge you show has no chance of registration in Germany, not even by a wide shot. Even if you were to bribe an engineer to do this (happens, yes), the cops would pull you over within 30 minutes and impound the truck.
The Germans have very very strict testing and registration rules. Second hand parts are not even able to be sold in Germany.
In Germany keep it standard.

It is still equipped with lights and sirens and my question is would I be arrested for impersonating an officer (because I'm NOT a cop) for driving a Ford Mustang SSP unmarked police car?

- Will a Ford Focus with 116K miles on it do a road trip from the UK to Germany? (2,500 miles)? It's got 116K on the clock, had a new Cambelt 3 months ago, four new tires two weeks ago and drives great, was serviced at the same time as getting the tires done but would it do the road trip? Going over 5 days. Please only answer if you know about cars, I'm not looking for uneducated opinions in the nicest possible way. It might be helpful to add that it's a 2002
