Can I ship a brand new car overseas or its illegal by any law or manufacturer policies?
I'm planning to by a brand new car from Ford dealership in the US and planning to immediately ship it overseas to Saudi Arabia (it will be fully paid in cash). I heard that there are some issues and maybe its prohibited to ship a new car unless it's been in the US for six month! Has anyone hear of this before or been in the same shoe?
Yes.
The selling dealer can get into big trouble with Ford. This was due to the enormous demand for the "new" Mustang.
GM had the same policy regarding the Camaro when it was new.
But what do you care… You buy the car.pay your taxes and then ship it wherever you want to. If the dealer gets in trouble.so what
No, it's completely legal and okay on your part. I bought an Audi a7 from new York and shipped it to jordan. I didn't import the car to jordan though. I just kept my new York plates. Anyways its better and will make your car stand out from the rest.
- Can a police officer buy a brand new unmarked police car with out his department's Do Dodge and Ford sell their unmarked police cars to individual police officers if the officers directly contact Dodge or Ford? Or do they only sell their unmarked police cars directly to police departments? Happy Gramps You are wrong. Dodge and Ford have their factory equipped Charger and Ford Interceptor (Taurus) models with police packages
- Shouldn't congress pass the eye for an eye Christine Ford law where Ford has to follow Sharia law if she can't provide 4 male witnesses? Paying by 100 lashes for not knowing the date of the assault, not knowing any of the details of her claims, and not having ANY witnesses that unknown night because nothing happened.
- Can I use synthetic in a brand new engine? I just rebuilt an engine for a 91 ford ranger 2.3L. My manual says to use 5w-20 conventional but since there have been some advancements in the synthetic oils since the 70's, do I need to worry about seal swell or shrink? My instinct is to just use conventional to play it safe, but I'd really like to use synthetic. I'm reading conflicted information…
- Looking to buy a car privately which hasn't been serviced in 4 years but only 9000km (they bought the car brand new)? As above. the car is a Ford EcoSport 1.5 titanium it has 9000km only but they say they've never had it serviced? should I stay away from this car? also, since there's no service history could this be a case of odometer roll back fraud?
