2005 Ford Freestyle .After changing the power steering line It had check traction control, check transmission display message.engine rev'd?
I did some research and checked and replaced front speed sensors. It also had a broken sway bar link on passenger side which was replaced. It seems to not come out of 2nd gear. Sometimes shifts hard into Drive.
Would a computer part need reset after the power steering line was replaced?

Might have knocked off a wiring harness to the transmission. Find local shop at ATRA.COM for more help
Nothing you did to the PS should have caused trouble with the traction control. Have you tried to erase the PCM yet/ Sometimes the message center won't clear a set message until you plug in a code reader and erase the codes even if the CEL is not lit.
- One side of the power steering rack line on this 91 Ford Taurus is disconnected. Why, and what to do? The power steering rack in my Ford Taurus has a metal rack line that is just laying there unconnected on the front left wheel side of the rack and pinion. Did it just pop out a long time ago? It looks like its been laying there unconnected forever. It seems connected fine on the right hand side, next to the bellows. If I try to plug it back into the fitting for it, will it stay put this time?
- Ford Mustang v6 abs/ traction control light on and brakes are locking up? I was driving yesterday and the abs and traction control light came on so I pulled over and shut off the car, I tried starting it again and the battery was dead. I got the car jumped and drove it about a mile and the brakes just started locking up and the cars lights were flashing, none of my Gage s were working and it said I have no gas when my gas tank was full. It was weird, does anyone maybe have a clue what could be wrong with it?
- When changing the power steering pump on a KA (54) can you use PTFE tape to seal the pressure line from pump? I have changed the power steering pump on a ford KA (54) and when removing the pressure line from the pump there was some kind of seal on it but I don't know what it was, so I was hopping that PTFE tape would do the same job at sealing the thread. Any help please. Andy.
- Ford Windstar 02 rpms rev when i turn steering? Is this normal or should be checked out it doesn't rev much and I hear like a quick sucking noise or like release of air type sound also when I turn steering wheel left or right
