Ford Mustang v6 abs/ traction control light on and brakes are locking up?
I was driving yesterday and the abs and traction control light came on so I pulled over and shut off the car, I tried starting it again and the battery was dead. I got the car jumped and drove it about a mile and the brakes just started locking up and the cars lights were flashing, none of my Gage s were working and it said I have no gas when my gas tank was full.
It was weird, does anyone maybe have a clue what could be wrong with it?
The computer that controls all that stuff doesn't work right if you have low voltage. You may have a bad alternator causing it and the the battery to die.
- Why would you think my 2008 Ford H 53 chassis Motor home engine randomly cut off and the ABS light come on? Ford Triton V10 when heading up a hill sometimes the engine will cut out and the ABS light on the dash comes on and goes out. The engine continues to run and we get home just fine. Seems like power is getting cut off or something.
- My trucks bucked really hard and then ABS light came on? I've been having problems with my truck. It has sometimes where it bucks like a baby bull and I figured my clutch was slipping. The other day it did it and my abs flashed a few times then stayed on. I turned off my truck then back on and it went away. Could my electronics be tripping my abs system? It's an 03 Ford Ranger edge 5 speed with a 3.0l.
- What's wrong with my 2002 Ford Mustang ABS light bulb? I own a 2002 Ford Mustang and recently I was replacing my ABS light bulb but the bulb I put in won't work. I turn the car on and let it run it's self test and the ABS light doesn't turn on. It won't turn on during self-test or after, it's as if the ABS light bulb is pulled out but I just put a new one in there? And the old bulb doesn't work either now. Do I need a new bulb? Or when a bulb is removed does it break the speedometer? Do I need a new speedometer now?
- 2006 Ford Mustang with ABS light and TCS light. What do I do? I recently got an 06 Mustang with an ABS light and TCS light on. I had it checked out just by a quick view. The guy does not believe my hub assembly or bearings are bad. I replaced the ABs sensor and it still did not seem to help. When I had it scanned the computer said it is the passenger rear ABS. I have no grinding, no noises, no issues driving, but I want to fix it properly. Does anyone have any ideas on what steps to take now?
