Which part is no 1061670 for ford focus suspension?
Garage invoice states 30.65 sterling price for set of 2
It is a rear arm bushing. The rear arm holds the wheel assembly in place (that would be the wheel, brakes, and all related parts). It is dampered by a spring and a shock absorber. The bushing keeps the metal parts of the arm from rubbing against the bolt or pin that holds the arm to the body of the car.
Here is a picture of the rear suspension. That big long thing that's holding the spring onto the bottom of the car? That's the control arm. Your suspension bushing is part of that.
- 01 Ford Taurus suspension noise. Recent work done? HI Today I just replaced the front Springs and struts, lower ball joints, and sway bar links. I still have a clunking noise that sounds like a hollow metal clanking noise that I can hear really well at low speeds and small bumps. Sounds like a hollow metal pipe clanking with another pipe if that helps.
- My transmission has failed due to a recalled part does Ford have to replace the whole transmission or just the recalled part? I have a 2005 Ford Freestar minivan one night when I was driving home the transmission went out on it while I was on the highway. After doing some research we found that the torque converter is a recalled part on this model. If the torque converter is the reason for the transmission failure does Ford have to replace my whole transmission as well or just the torque converter?
