2007 Ford Focus cuts out when idling?
When I'm at a stop light or stopped and car is idling it cuts out pretty bad, also when I start my car it revs high then cuts out a little. When driving just now while turning it just died, check engine light on, says intake manifold stuck open? Any suggestions on what it could be?
P2004? Most common cause is the $3 plastic clip on the IMRC arm is broken, so the Intake Manifold Runner Control stuck open… But maybe it's a vacuum hose issue… Open the hood and check.

- 88 ford ranger. Idling at 1200-1500 RPMs and gets 12 MPG. What is wrong? The only thing i have done to it was clean the intake with B12. I also used jb40 with that. Seems like sometime after that this happened. The truck runs great, its just idling high and its using alot of gas. Some trobleshooting tips would be cool.
