What are the simplest steps for replacing water pump in 1984 F150 v6?

Take the old one off and put new one on.
So what do you have a V-6 or a inline 300 which is a I-6. Different water pumps they are not the same motors.
The simplest step is getting out of the vehicle at the dealer and walking up to a service writer! There are no "simplest steps"! You just do the job!
Open hood. Drain radiator. Remove belt/s. Remove fan/hub. Remove water pump. Clean gasket surfaces Reverse to install.
