1997 ford f250 engine and tranny swap?
I've been thinking about getting a mud truck. A good friend of mine suggested that I buy a Ford f250 power stroke and swap the engine for a cummins and the transmission for an allison. I found a 1997 f250 with a 7.3L power stroke and I found a conversion kit to do the engine swap, however I'm having a hard time trying to find a conversion kit for the tranny. Could someone please tell me where I could find one? Also if you know of a good idea for a mud truck I'm all ears!

- What desiel engine/tranny should I get in my 69 Ford Mustang? I want to put a desiel engine in my Mustang and I'm pretty sure I can fit a bluetec in it but I'm not sure what transmission I should use to match it. I definitely want a 5 speed manual at the least. And once I have installed the engine and transmission is there any other adjustments I need to make to maximize performance or just keep it from falling apart. And if you can please include the price I would be looking at along with where I could buy the part.
