Will light switch for a 56 ford work on a 55 ford when converting 6 volt to 12 volt system?
Can someone give their advice on converting from a 6 volt to a 12 volt system? Will a 56 Ford light switch work?
Sure. Switches are not bothered by small changes in voltage. Current is what can cause problems with switches. The current should be the same or less going to a 12V lighting system.

- 2012 Ford Focus Wipers go on by themselves, and don't work by wiper switch? My 2012 Ford Focus SE had a battery go dead. A day after that, the wipers went on by themselves while driving. They kept going after the car was turned off. Eventually they stopped. When I unlocked the car by remote, the wipers started again. When I need the wipers (rain) and try and turn them on by the wiper switch, nothing happens. Windshield Washer works, and all fuses are fine. Any Ideas?
