Maybe the ring and pinion gear is lower(higher numerically)in the Ford than it is in the Dodge. This would allow more torque multiplication at lower rpms. The Dodge probably has more peak torque than the Ford but a lower rear gearset will make better use of what torque you have.

So i'm being charged $1300 to get it replaced and there's no pressure from thr torque converter will my tranny go out soon or what will happen? - I have a Ford Fusion with a great working engine. Does this engine fit in other cars ala the Litter and Cylinder numbers are the same? I have a Ford Fusion 2009 that the body is kind of wrecked. So I'm looking for a new body. Does that has to be Ford Fusion or I can go for different ones? The engine is 2.3L/4Cylinders. I looked it up and Mustang and Mazda CX7 and etc have the same numbers.
- 2015 Ford Fusion S, 2015 Chrysler 200 LX or 2015 Kia Optima LX? All pretty similarly priced. F and C have 3 year b - b and 5 year power warranty while the K has 5 year 100k everything.
- Can a dial torque wrench be used in same situation as a click torque wrench? Or are the used in specific applications? I'm looking to get a torque wrench to fasten the valve cover on my Ford F-150. Being new to all this I automatically started looking at click wrenches. But I have seen some higher brand dial wrenches for decent prices also. Can I use dial? Or stick with click?(Digital/high tech is out of my price range) Thanks.
