Would you like to be accused of a major crime, and convicted in the absence of any evidence whatsoever? How about 35 years from now, someone says they saw you rob a bank around 2015, or 2016, 2017 - they can't remember where it was, exactly what year it was, how they got there, how they got home - - but they are 100% sure they saw you rob a bank… And they didn't want to tell anyone when it happened. They think they were 18 or 19 at the time (which would make you 15 when it supposedly happened) and they were afraid you were going to kill them "accidentally".

Clearly they were drinking. Clearly it was a tramautic event, if it happened. It doesn't surprise me that she doesn't know all the nitty gritty details. She probably didn't plan on coming out about it, especially not 35 years after the fact. Now that she has, everyone wants her to shut up. Such a shame. But at least Kavanaugh remembers loving beer!
By claiming she can't recall those details she removes from the case any ability to confirm her assertions… OR DISCREDIT THEM.

- If Ford really thought she was assaulted then why hasn't she contacted the Maryland police, they said last week they would investigate? If she did. Wouldn't that have but a crimp in Kavanaugh's confirmation to be the subject of a criminal investigation for sexual assault? Why hasn't she reported it to the police?
