What was the first car you ever drove?
I'm bored so yeah what's the first car you drove. My first car was a modern Ford falcon series 3
When I was eleven years old my dad bought a used Studebaker Lark, I think it was already five or six years old. I ended up driving that car to college! That was the problem with Studebakers. They lasted so long that if you bought one you'd never buy another one.
The Lark had a manual transmission but it had some nice features. You could pull up to a stop without putting your foot on the clutch! When you wanted to start again you'd push down the clutch and let it out normally! It had a hill-holder so you couldn't roll down a hill backwards (and this was a HUGE help in San Francisco!)
And it had an overdrive that worked with every gear. Put it in first, accelerate, then take your foot off the gas and it would shift to first/overdrive. It had three gears and they all worked that way, so it was really six gears. On the highway if you were in overdrive and you wanted to pass someone you'd push the pedal all the way down and it would drop back out of overdrive. Then you'd take your foot off the pedal and it would go back into overdrive. That was what was called a Borg Warner Overdrive.

- Would you ever buy a ford? My friend says that they are very unreliable. I want to buy a new car the ford fusion but i don't know. Ford or Toyota
- Drove over hill too fast and car is making a thumping noise? I have a 2003 ford focus. Today I was driving and went to make a turn fast and went up a hill and it hit my car and made a loud noise. When pulled up my car started making a thumping noise I thought that it was the tire but when I popped the good and accelerated while in drive the engine was moving up it's still running fine but moving and making a thump when accelerating. What could be wrong with it please help.
- Do you ever regret buying any car? I regret buying a used Ford wagon. Something always broke and cost $5000 in repairs until it was thankfully totaled in an accident.
- Did Ford Broncos ever come from the factory with a 460? I heard that you could get them in Canada? I need some sort of proof that you could by a factory bronco with a 460. I was told you could by them in Canada and possibly Mexico. The only thing that I have found is a VIN 2FTHF26GXLCB20791.
