What kind of mpg can I expect from 2016 ford diesel?

Hi so lets start with what size engine doe sit have and what model of ford diesel.

Rough guess depending on use between 11-13. Other models won't be much better. Fueleconomy.gov look up the 15 models to see what other owners get for mileage

The last time I looked there was more than half a dozens size engines… So be more specific

Where are you in the world and which engine in which car might help?

Ford Powerstroke 6.7L turbo diesel trucks can see 17-18 mpg on the highway.

I've heard around 12-14 around town and around 16-18 on the highway. Depending on the axle ratio, 2WD/4WD, cab configuration, etc.

Specifics?

Are we talking about a truck that can struggle to hit 20mpg or a Fiesta which can do 50+?

  • 2016 Ford Mustang Or Chevy Camaro 2016? Which one is overall better. Which one looks better? I can afford a v8 but I don't want to fill up my gas tank every 3 days because I drive far. Which one do you like the look of more?
  • How long can I expect a 2007 Ford F-250 superduty with a 6.0 diesel to last? I'm looking at purchasing a 2007 Ford F-250 super duty with the 6.0 diesel in it. Current mileage is 154,000 and from what I can find on it has been serviced fairly well and was a texas truck. I only intend to use it to haul a 30' travel trailer a few times a year and maybe some local driving around town from time to time, but not really daily use. But my question is how reliable are they?
  • Does the Ford Excursion diesel really get 18 mpg? I'm thinking about getting a Ford Excursion Powerstroke diesel. I read somewhere that they can get up to 18 mpg city. Is this really true? I forgot about fuel economy factors such as driving habits and weather. Can it really get mid-upper teens in the city? I forgot 4WD.
