What hose is this? (Auto repair)?
I need to know what it's called so I can get a new one. This is the back of the intake manifold on a 2.0L ford zetec motor
Thanks.
Without being able to see anything else, I would guess that it may be an exhaust gas recirculation hose.
Spend $20 and get the Haynes manual for your vehicle. Then when you follow the hose to its ends, you can look up what those components are that it hooks up to, and you'll be able to tell your parts counter guy what you need.
You REMOVE the offending item and take it your nearest AUTOPARTS STORE like everybody else does. Many HOSES can be EASILY created from RAW tubing that matches the dimensions.
- What is this hydraulic hose? Does anyone know what this hydraulic hose is and where I might be able to find it for sale? Its to an old ford tractor believed to be model 753.
- What happens if I remove the cone within the intake hose of my 1991 2.3L Ford Tempo GL? It has a HSC engine. Does the cone create a swirl in the air which the High Swirl Combustion engine needs? Or is it a silencer that I can remove to gain HP and fuel economy? I know these were lemons but it has no rust, was always garaged and has 130K KILOMETERS on it. See my sketch of it below… Thanks for your help.
- Rubber hose at intake manifold? I have a Ford Contour and need to know what and where the soft rubber hose at the intake manifold is. I just need to know what it is and where I can go buy one. I want to order it and install it as soon as possible. Please don't suggest asking a mechanic or auto store.
- I need a crankcase breather hose? I need someone to find me a link or website I can go to to order a crankcase breather hose assembly for my 96 ford thunderbird with a 4.6 in it I have looked everywhere online and can't seem to find one anywhere
