What do you think about the Brett Kavanaugh situation?

I believe in "innocent until proven guilty." I believe a lot of holes have been poked in Dr. Ford's story. Republicans know the FBI won't waste time on decades-old claims. Dianne Feinstein should've turned that letter over to the fbi when she got it.

The Democrats are going to pay dearly for their Treachery!

I know there's no Statute of Limitations on sexual assault. I know the innocent don't fear investigation.

I think I want to hear the evidence before I claim I know anything.

He's not on trial. The confirmation process is a glorified job interview.

There are also holes in Kavanaughs story.
If Kavanaugh is innocent as he claims why would he be so adverse to a FBI investigation?
I would think an innocent man would be all for an investigation to clear his name.
Ford is willing to put her claims to the test of an investigation.
And the second accuser is also asking for an investigation.
And Feistein did not make the letter public as per the request of Ford. It was only after the existence of letter was leaked that she consulted Ford to see if she would come forward.

There are more accusers now, and there's no motive these women would have to put themselves in this horrible limelight where they are getting death threats. If they are willing to take lie detector tests and have an FBI investigation, why isn't Kavanaugh willing? And why was he hiding his documents and lying BEFORE these women came forward?

I want a police detective to put ford in the
Interrogation room and get to the bottom
Of her accusations. She is a criminal and
Should be treated like one. Let the police
Get the truth out of her. They are good at
Dealing with liars and connecting the evidence
To prosecute bad people.

Even before or without the sexual assault allegations, he is a terrible nominee for the highest court in the nation. He shouldn't even be running a traffic court. There's far too much controversy surrounding him with suppressed, withheld, and redacted documents about his activities and judgments as a judge and when he worked in the Bush administration. He's already been found lying under oath numerous times, something the republicans running the show conveniently ignore. And numerous times he has ducked and avoided answering questions that were asked to determine his fitness as a judge deciding the constitutionality of laws and lower court judgements, as well as how he would handle matters of personal rights, corporate corruption, and governmental or presidential corruption. With only about 1/3 of the population supporting his nomination (according to polls), he should never have been nominated and he should be thoroughly rejected by the judiciary committee if everyone on that committee actually takes their job seriously.

Well, I do not understand why this position of Supreme Court Judge should be for a life term, It should be for a 4 year term.whether or not what happened is true or not true.
