What are the requirements to work at a dealership selling cars?
I'm 18 years old. What are the requirements to work at a car dealership (ex - Honda, Chevy, Ford) as a salesperson?
Be personable, presentable and good at sales.
25+ with a good driving record. For insurance reasons.
Willing to work long hours for low pay.
You are "entitled" to minimum wage but if your commissions don't exceed that, you will be a former car salesman.
Some dealerships prefer no experience.

- Which dealership is best working for, Toyota, Ford, or Honda? (Working on cars)? I'm joining a dealership program with an Internship and would like some help on a decision. I'll be working on cars.
- If Ford is the best selling brand in the US, then why is Ford stock only selling for: $12.58 today? Since Ford is such a popular brand, you'd think the stocks would be selling for a lot more! It seems like it would be selling for about $5,000 per share. What is affecting Ford to make the stock be so low? In 2007, I remember it was at $11.00/share. It has gone up a little over the past 10 years, but not significantly. Why?
- If a dealership lies to me about the work they did does that make the contract null an void? Biought a 03 cummins from mazda ford has a death wobble at 80 mph the parts that the dealership said they changed out are the ones on the recall to which i still have the same problem.
- Why isn't the Ford Focus selling in the US? It's their best selling model world wide, but nobody in the US is buying it. The most popular version is the 1.6 diesel with a stick. I wonder how many of those sold in the US bwaha.
