What are some of your favorite (unpopular) classic cars?
For example, Everyone loves a 1969 Camaro SS or a '57 BelAir, or even a 1979 Trans Am. But what about a 1954 Hudson Hornet, or a 1934 duesenberg? Or even a 1934 Ford with a 1000
A 61 Buick Special, Its Aluminum V8 was the original choice for the Cobra.
The 65 Corvair was a beautiful looking car. Low and lean. We won't talk about the engine.
The Sunbeam Alpine was just like the classic T-Bird, only 1/2 the size.
The Nsu Sport Prinz looked like it should go like hell but most motorcycles had larger engines.
- Why don't car companies remake some of their classic car models if people like them so much? Of course safety is in mind because everyone would freak out if they didn't have a seat belt and air bags in every inch of the car, but why can't some of the companies just remake their best selling car models? Dodge could remake their 1948 Sedan and Ford could remake their 1949 Custom. I could list more but I can't think of any more classics.
