Which was the maximum speed of the following classic cars?
Ford falcon sedan 6cyl 91hp 1960
dodge lancer sedan 6cyl 101hp 1961
ford galaxie 500 coupe 6cyl 150hp 1970
renault 16 gl 4cyl 55hp 1965
All of them were capable of exceeding any legally posted speed limit they were likely to encounter. That's all you NEED to know.
No one was interested in maximum speeds or even hp back in those days, nor was it relevant.
They would all be hard pressed to pass the 100mph mark (the galaxy 500 might actually do it, but not by much). Those aren't speedsters by any standard.
Hi look at the AGE of these cars most are now had there metal bodies turned into either new cars or drinks cans.
- What are some of your favorite (unpopular) classic cars? For example, Everyone loves a 1969 Camaro SS or a '57 BelAir, or even a 1979 Trans Am. But what about a 1954 Hudson Hornet, or a 1934 duesenberg? Or even a 1934 Ford with a 1000
- What are some current TV reality shows in the United States that restores classic cars that? Are accepting cars for restorations? Like Overhaulin, which is not accepting cars at this time. I want to surprise my husband somehow to get his 54 Ford finished for him and I can't do it on my own. Please include links if you can.
- Can I make my five speed to a six speed? I have a 91 Ford Ranger 3.0L V6 five speed. I know it's not an idea vehicle to fix but I enjoy the vehicle much. I would to fix it up, I know to give it a better performance that I have to make a lot of things custom. One thing I'd like to do is change it to a six speed, would it be wise to do so and is it possible? I'm hoping for a little bit gas mileage doing this and maybe faster acceleration?
- Should I trade my 1995 ford mustang v6 5 speed for a 3000gt v6 five speed? Mustang runs and drives, 3000gt runs and drives but need ball joint and a arm. Should I trade if he throws money in for trade?
