Why isn't my car starting up?
Ok so I have a 2007 ford taurus se and last afternoon I tried to start my car and no lights came on and neither did the.engine. So I took the battery to get tested and it was working great. I then took the starter to also get tested and It was working perfectly fine. After putting everything back on the car it seems to be running fine. It's also worth mentioning I got broken into last week and got the ignition replaced but when I turn the car off the radio would stay on? Maybe this has something to do with it. I'd really like to fix whatevers wrong before my car ***** up again. Any suggestion helps.
Have ignition replaced again. Take it where you took it and tell them about radio staying on and it didn't do that with old ignition!
If the radio stays on, the circuit is grounded out making it run constantly and draining the battery fast. You need to pull the radio out and physically examine the wiring for any broken areas that maybe have been contacting the metal frame inside the cavity for the radio.
- Why isn't my 1999 Ford Windstar heat not working? Last winter was pretty cold and I have been working to try fixing my heating problem. I took it to a shop and he said I'd have to take it to the dealer. My budget isn't that high so I replaced the blend door acuator myself and that didn't fix my problem. Not sure what to even try. My A/C works fine and air will blow out but absolutely no heat. Need Help!

- Why isn't my temperature gauge going up? I have a 2004 ford ranger 2.3. Its 48 degrees right now in texas and its raining. I cranked my truck and it died 10 seconds later. I cranked it 2 more times and it would die as soon as it turned on. I tried a fourth time and it turned. The truck has been on for 45 minutes and the temperature gauge hasn't moved at all. The heater is working fine though and the truck isn't making any weird noises or smells. What could be the problem?
- Why isn't my fuel pump turning on? I have a 1997 ford ranger and the fuel pump doesn't turn on when you turn the key. I replaced the pump and it does the same thing. No purging sound like usual. What else could it be if not the actual fuel pump. I need all possibilities please.
