What's wrong with my car? - 1
I have a 2002 Ford Taurus, 6 cylinder, 4 door, Front wheel drive.
Ever since I got the car, when it gets up to 35-40+ it wobbles. Dad said front tires need balanced. Got it done. Nothing changed. Check engine light is on and it was saying spark plugs and auxillary emissions control misfire. My uncle erased the codes and when the light came back on, it just said aucillary emissions control. He checked the spark plugs a few seemed weak, but the code didn't show up (could be back haven't checked) Took it to the shop (Joplin Transmission) and told them the problem, I don't even think they drove it. They said the back tired had bands broken, (why do I ONLY feel it when I'm going faster than 30, and when I'm putting gas into it?) Ball joints, and spark plugs.
It doesn't explain anything… If it were the spark plugs, WHY is it shaking the whole front end?
Ball joints - Why is it shaking the whole ffrontend, my brother had bad ball joints and it wasn't shaking his truck.
Back tires - changed.
I talked to my best friends uncle and he said its the front right tire. I'm fixing that tonight, just to see. But again, why am I only feeling it when I'm going fast. It's supposed to be the opposite… You feel it when you go slow and less when you go fast…
A broken cord in a tire can cause wobble at different speeds and different acceleration levels. Ball joints can definitely cause shaking. That's what's holding the entire steering knuckle. If it's worn it can wobble.
So the bottom line is you took it to a shop. They gave you a diagnosis. And now you don't believe any of it and you want us to guess what else might be causing your problem? Is that right?
Change the plugs, there's no such thing as "weak plugs"
- What can go wrong from a car sitting a few months? My car has been sitting in my grandparent's carport for a few months. I tried to jump start it today, the lights turned on and all the electronic stuff worked but it wouldn't start. Do I just need to try again or could it be the starter or something? It's a 1998 Ford Taurus.

- What's wrong with my car? Whenever I'm on my brakes and I move my foot off my car revs up and try's to speed forward almost like I'm using the gas pedal. I have a 2006 ford fusion.
- I need some opinions on what may be wrong with my car? I have a 2000 Ford Focus ZX3. Anytime I let off of the acceleration, there's sort of a rumbling/growling/humming type of noise. I've had a few people tell me that it might be the cv joints, but from what I've read those are more likely to make clicking sounds, and I haven't encountered that at all. I'm just not sure what the deal is and I'd really appreciate some opinions.
