What is wrong with my car? - 2
I have a 2000 Ford Mustang but normally runs fine the other daymy husband took it for one over to his friends house and came back and it was finebut then when he went to leave for work two hours laterwhen he started the car it was shaking really bad and it shakes really bad when you put it in drive and it will shake up until you get over probably I think 10 miles per hour and then it stopped shaking but when you are sitting still it starts shaking again what would cause this
Check the air filter. I think part of the intake is dislodged.
As cliche as it sounds, check spark plugs. I blew my first cylinder spark plug and it gave me problems anywhere from idle to between 20-30 mph.
- What can go wrong from a car sitting a few months? My car has been sitting in my grandparent's carport for a few months. I tried to jump start it today, the lights turned on and all the electronic stuff worked but it wouldn't start. Do I just need to try again or could it be the starter or something? It's a 1998 Ford Taurus.
- What's wrong with my car? Whenever I'm on my brakes and I move my foot off my car revs up and try's to speed forward almost like I'm using the gas pedal. I have a 2006 ford fusion.
- I need some opinions on what may be wrong with my car? I have a 2000 Ford Focus ZX3. Anytime I let off of the acceleration, there's sort of a rumbling/growling/humming type of noise. I've had a few people tell me that it might be the cv joints, but from what I've read those are more likely to make clicking sounds, and I haven't encountered that at all. I'm just not sure what the deal is and I'd really appreciate some opinions.
- Car speedometer showing wrong speed? My ford fiesta mk 6 has just come back from the garage after having an MOT and now the speedo is reading 10 mph less than its actually travelling. Can anyone tell me what may have caused this and can it be easily fixed, Thanks
