I need some opinions on what may be wrong with my car?

I have a 2000 Ford Focus ZX3. Anytime I let off of the acceleration, there's sort of a rumbling/growling/humming type of noise. I've had a few people tell me that it might be the cv joints, but from what I've read those are more likely to make clicking sounds, and I haven't encountered that at all. I'm just not sure what the deal is and I'd really appreciate some opinions.

Could be caused by uneven tire wear.

  • Need opinions on a Ford Employer 1996? I can pick up the above SUV with 141,000 miles for $700.00. It looks and sounds fine just will need new tires. I've never bought a vehicle with high miles like this and am a little afraid of major repairs down the road. Give me an honest opinion on this SUV
  • What are some good things to do to my 2007 Ford V6 Mustang to get some more power and performance? I want to get more power and better performance out of my V6 and no I don't want to trade up for a V8. I inherited this car and its paid off and only has 11,000 miles on it. Not to mention sentimental value so please leave your hate for V6s for someone else. I just want to know some cost effective ways to get more out of my stang. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.

  • May car tries to turn over while the key is the accessories position. Why is that? Car is a 1971 Ford Mustang 302 5.0 V8. I replaced all the gaskets, rebuilt the carb, had a new solenoid, voltage regulator, started, coil, timing chain, and oil pump put into the car. I'm getting a new Neutral Safety switch for the vehicle but could that be it?
