Is a 2008 Ford Taurus X a good first car?
I'm a 16 year old guy and I want a 2008 Ford Taurus X Limited AWD as my first car. I need AWD for snow. How reliable are they? Will it last? Does it have transmission problems?
Added (1). Taurus X. Not the little car. The SUV.
Added (2). I want the MDX but, it takes premium fuel and that costs too much.
Added (3). Outback doesn't have a third row seat.
The Taurus wagon is a pretty good car. If you like it and you take care of it, it will be a good car. But don't expect any used car to be maintenance free.
Nice 3.5L V6. Lot better than the Freestyle. AWD suck gas. Acura MDX gets a little better mpg with similar size. Maybe look at into a Subaru Outback.
Not as reliable as Honda or Toyota, but more reliable than Chrysler or any European car.
Yeah good car… Back in 2008
The Ford Taurus are generally regarded as cars for grandmothers or accountants. They're about as boring as Camrys and all Hondas.
- Is a 2005 Ford Taurus a good first car? My mom got it at a decent price and it looks okay. It runs good and everything. Is this a good first car for me? I just turned 16 and am going to get my license soon, I just need to get more hours of driving in.
- I'm in high school and about to get my first car looking for a loud, fast and good looking car So far I have looked into ford mustangs, I have a choice between a 2007 ford mustang gt with a 8 cylinder motor with automatic transmission, or I can get a 2013 mustang v6. My question is which of the two cars is a faster and louder car cause I would like to show it off and have heads turn by its engine as I drive off on the street. Thank you very much about to get my first car looking for a loud, fast and good looking car?
