1-3 hours, if you do it yourself make sure to disconnect the battery first
The labor guide calls for 2.4 hours. If you decide to do it yourself disconnect your battery first, get a service manual and draw a picture of your serpentine belt routing if your under hood sticker is gone
If you know what your doing
about 30minutes
Any alternator is bolted on with 2-4 bolds has a few wires out the back and is attached to the serpentine belt (or water pump belt on some models)
I can do the alternator on my f-250 460ci in about 10m but stuff is a little easier to reach
it's not a difficult thing to do
Disconnect the battery
take the serpentine belt of
unbolt the alternator disconnect the wires on the back
attach wires to new alternator bolt into place replace serpentine belt reattached battery
done

Right now my list includes: battery, wiper blades, air fliter, front and rear brake pads and all 4 tires? Also what mechanic services will I need? So far that lists includes: a tune-up, oil change, and an engine flush. Your help would be very appreciated.
