Has anyone noticed that luxury cars look more and more like regular cars, and vice versa?

I mean back in the eighties and nineties, it was not hard to spot a luxury car… They were very, very different then your average commuter car. A Rolls-Royce or a jaguar look nothing like a Ford Taurus. But now, in this decade, it seems like that Gap has narrowed… To an untrained eye like mine, honestly, Hyundai, Toyota, A lexus, and a Bentley all look pretty much the same at a distance from the outside… Especially in Black, they all look kind of like the same Sleek, shiny thing. Anyone else notice that?

I never see Bentleys. Or Rolls.

Manufacturers are getting smarter. They know how to design a car to make it look more expensive than it really is.

But I can guarantee you nobody is mistaking a Bentley for a Toyota. At least not by someone who knows anything about cars.
