Yes!
M How about using your dad's 2010 Ford Taurus for practice, then fixing it up later.
Ask your Dad!
If you are ready to become an automotive technician before practicing on dad's Taurus before you suggest him to get another car before handing over the keys to the Taurus.
Hi here is the facts it is a ford they always have faults even new ones.
Always have dad advise you in that direction as support is better than making mistakes and asking for help afterwards.
these are mass produced cars and though decent do devlope flaws overtime as all cars do .especially if not maintained. We can start by checking out how to service a car? Change wheels. ( safety) then as we progress with driving? We can work on anything that we need to fix as it occurs. All such skills take time to learn and not all go easy or work first time. We can check out many things on U -tube videos or internet but essentially having a person at ones side imparting information and guidance is best.
golden rule being if in doubt… ASK. Far better to feel a bit of a fool for asking a silly question that to NOT ask and make a big mistake.
Keep your hands off of your dad's car until you learn how to drive and get your license. I know 4 kids that took their parents car for a joy ride and totaled it.
- My '06 Ford Taurus is having what i'm assuming transmission problems, any ideas? The other day while attempting to back up a small slope, my engine revved up and a message came on the info area of my dash saying to check the transmission. I turned off the car, turned it on and the check engine light was on. I go home and check the trans fluid and it's full. The next day I start my car and the check engine light is off, but now my car shakes on heavy acceleration and gear changes. I'm not a car person. Any ideas?
- My buddy has a 99 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4 that is leaking oil from rear passenger wheel. Any ideas on why? The brake cover is not pushed all the way against the hub. There's a half inch gap between them. Don't know if that has anything to do with it. So it has nothing to do with the wheel bearing?
- Ford focus c max filled up oil after a week dipstick shows no oil, no burning smell no weird noises no apparent leaks. Any ideas? Ford focus c max filled up oil after a week dipstick shows no oil, no burning smell no weird noises no apparent leaks… Any ideas?
- Dads explorer in my name? My dad just bought a 2005 ford explorer, he is currently getting a devorce, and he is scared that his wife will get it he paid 7000 for it, his lawyer said they only way she can get it is if he signs the title over to someone else. So he asked me to put the title in my name, for the duration of his devorce. My question is, does this make me liable for anything, or are there any cons to this?
