Since Connecticut ruled that they could sue Remington arms over a mass shooting done with a rifle the built, does that mean?

That I can sue ford because the guy that rear ended me at the stop light was driving one? He was texting while driving is why he hit me, can I also sue his cell phone maker, and plan provider?

Yes - if you are an American Citizen, then this is your birthright.

Please don't sue me, thank you.

Was your specifically designed to propel pieces of metal at a high speed for a lethal purpose, and advertised as such

if yes, then you may have a case

You can, yes.

Yes, you can sue Ford and anyone else you want.

Your chance of actually winning such a lawsuit is exactly zero, just like the CT lawsuit.

Yes. Whether you can proceed depends on exactly what claims you make in the complaint. If you want to know what that court ruled, consider actually reading the decision

LOL. In most states it is illegal to text and drive. Even if in your state it is not illegal, then the phone company can't be responsible for a person not paying attention by taking their eyes off the road and rear ending you. There's NO law that says that because a phone call comes in or a text, you must answer it.

The good news is that he rear ended you, regardless of the reason, thus his insurance will pay for your damages.

If this happened in Connecticut, I think it's worth a try.

Ford didn't make a thing designed to kill people. Nor did the cell company.

Does your car dealer advertise how great his trucks are for running over people?

To be clear, the families can sue because of Remington's MARKETING of their gun, not the manufacturing of it.
Presumably, that car wasn't marketed as the ultimate killing machine, plus you didn't die.
