Recommendations for a first car?

I'm looking to get a car in the next year. Kind of indecisive on what I what i think would be best. Definitely no fords. I'm mostly looking for a Honda but I'm not sure what's best. I do like teggys and accords though.

Honda Accord, and Toyota Camry, are both ver reliable. Stay away from a 2003-04 Honda Accord as they have weak transmissions. Also the Hyundai Sonata, and Ford Fusion are very good cars.

Get a Civic.

If you're nto sure what you want why are you asking?

What country are you in.

Keep saving until you have $4000+. Then look at Mazda & Hyundai. Toyota & Honda are so popular you get less for your money.

  • What car should I get for my first car? I'm 16 and about to buy my first car. I'm thinking about getting a 94 Ford Ranger (120k miles) with lifted suspension, off road tires, and a prerunner bumper. Would this be a reliable car throughout my high school years? Should I get that or should I just get a 2 door coupe?
  • Which car for a first car? Which one http://autos.jdpower.com/research/Volkswagen/Golf/2001/Hatchback/index.htm (convertible version) Or http://autos.jdpower.com/research/Jeep/Liberty/2005/SUV/index.htm Or http://autos.jdpower.com/research/Ford/Mustang/2003/Coupe/index.htm
  • Which car should I get as a first car? Ford fusion 06 or 07 model? Or chevy avalanche 2002 z71. And last Mazda 6 04, 05 & 07. The newer the higher the price for each model(not by much). I'm a fan of each car and model style, so really want to know which last longer, cheaper maintenance and good car for a college boy.
  • Looking for used MPV recommendations? Could I please get opinions on the best used mpv to buy for a family of four and a Labrador dog. The car needs to be fuel efficient as its main purpose will be to commute to and from Coventry (60 mile round trip) but I need it for holidays with the family and dog as our ford focus is not big enough. I'm looking at up to £6000 but will be on HP with a trade in on the focus(1.4l, 2003, 5 door)
