Pressure testing radiator, air comes out overflow?
I have a 1998 ford ranger 3.0 litre. I have a engine over heat issue and when I try to pressure test the radiator air bubbles are coming through the overflow resevior for coolant. Am I doing something wrong? Should the radiator hold pressure ( I just replaced it)?
Your pressure tester has a bad gasket and is leaking air into the radiator neck and coming out the over flow bottle.
Possibly a blown head gasket.
- Can i unplug my mass air flow sensor to get my cold air intake to work better on my 2015 ford taurus? When i put the cold air intake on my car it went really slow so if I unplug the sensor would it fix that problem
- Put water in Radiator and it comes out Oil Dipstick Freeze plugs blew out and starter went out so i replaced everything and fired it up. I was so happy my Red 4x4 Machine was back. - What Ford vehicles with a 302 motor comes with a 4 barrel carb (and only comes 302 with a 4bc)? I have a 1989 mustang gt motor and I'm making it carbureted and I'm looking for any vehicle with a 302 that carries a 4b. I'm going to a junkyard where they don't help with finding vehicles, so it would be helpful to know what vehicles only have a 302 with a 4bc, that way I can look it up on the website and know exactly where its at.
- Ford Motor Company Testing? I took the testing for Ford back in early January, and I'm still waiting on a cal back on my test results, or a letter. I haven't received email on it or anything. I've answered every single call that s came through my phone, and I haven't gotten anything. How long does it usually take to hear back from ford? I've heard 3 weeks, but still I have nothing.
