My keeps dying while i'm driving?

I have a 2000 ford ranger XLT 2.5 liter 5 speed. The truck shakes while i accelerate and seems like its not getting power or being held back in a way. If I floor the vehicle I hear something rattling in the back from either the trans or the exhaust i'm not sure exactly where its coming from. The vehicle eventually gave out but I replaced my fuel pump and the truck shakes less but, still has the same problems and on top of that I have to pump gas to get it to start and it dies while i'm driving. Does anyone know why my vehicle would be doing this. I know I have a EGR valve code on my check engine right now other than that, thats all I know thats wrong with it so far.

  • Car died while driving and now won't start? 2007 ford taurus… While driving oil light came on after a few miles the car died wile I was turning and now won't restart.battery is good car just clicks and motor won't turn over… Does this sound like a locked up motor?
  • My car keeps struggling and misfiring after water keeps leaking into spark plugs? I have a ford focus 06 ghia and recently we took to a garage as was really sluggish and found we had water in spark plug casing. We have been told his is a common problem with this model! (wish I had been told about this before I had purchased the car) Has anybody had this problem and how was it rectified? Cheapest option:-( one poorly car at the moment
  • Why is my truck battery keeps dying? I checked everything in my truck 92 ford f150, It didn't have this problem until 3 days ago, also three days ago i let my one of roommates have some change out of my truck, and i didn't know if the dome light came on overnight, but i bought a new battery for it (everything is new in the truck) monday night, now tuesday night it won't start, it will not crank over, never had this problem with it, it only has 173k on it too.
  • Why did my car turn off while driving and smell burnt? I was driving my 93 ford explorer when it suddenly started sputtering. When I came 2 a red light it shut off and would not start up again. It still won't start today and its not a bad spark or misfire cuz I checked with screwdriver. Can anyone help me figure out what is wrong
