My 1996 ford ranger will not start right away after filling up with gas?

I turn the key and the starter just keeps trying to catch but engine never does. I've replaced the fuel filter, fuel lines and sensor in the fuel tank. Spark plugs and wires, alternator, timing belt, starter and battery are all less than a year old. I don't let the gas tank get below a quarter of a tank.

If the starter motor is actually spinning but it isn't engaging the flywheel- you probably need a new starter. I've heard of cases where the battery is too week to spin the starter fast enough, but neither of these would have anything to do with putting gas in your car. If you typically run your truck very low on fuel before filling up, it's bad for your electric fuel pump- and they can go out in the blink of an eye. When you say "the starter is trying to catch" and you actually mean that the motor is spinning but the engine won't start-- that's a different situation and may have to do with the fuel pump. If the motor is turning over but it won't start, give the fuel tank a couple whacks with your fist or a block of wood-- if that works you need a new fuel pump. (and after you replace it, fill up when it hits 1/4 tank!) lol

If it doesn't start right after replacing fuel lines and fuel pump, you might need to drain the air out from fuel lines before fuel can go into engine.
