My 1990 ford ranger leak transmission fliud into the oil how can that be?
When i add a quart to transmission drive to workthe oil level is a quart over when i drain the oil i get the red fliud out
If that transmission has a vacuum modulator with a ruptured diaphragm, the intake vacuum could be pulling it into the intake manifold. So much for "it's really not possible"… Time for a new modulator, dude.
How did you determine that?
It's really not possible.
If you are dumping tranny fluid into the air intake, it will be burned and dumped out the exhaust, not dumped into the crank case. You should dump the tranny fluid into the tranny dipstick hole instead of the valve cover.
