The only reason it is rare is because most of the thousands of them that were built have gone to the scrap yards and have been melted down to make Chinese motor scooters.
About as rare as the questions of rarity about this vehicle that you've posted over the last month or so.
Your not going to get thousands selling it if that's what you think
I think so because for the first time in two decades, I saw TEN of them racing toward Laredo ;-)

The old Ford Ranger from 1983 to 1992 (I call 1983 to 1992 Ford Rangers "1980s Ford Ranger Truck") is the ranger I rarely see in my town. I know a lot of those 1980s vehicles are very hard to find but is the 1983 to 1992 Ford Ranger very rare and hard to find? Would it be a good truck to buy if I did find one? Is there not much many of them left in the United States?

- 1992 ford ranger tail light not working? 1992 ford ranger, the rear running lights don't come on when i turn the headlights on. They use the same bulb as the brakes and the turn signals but both of those works, there's no voltage coming through the wire that is for the running lights when the switch is on, however the license plate lights both have 12.18V coming through and they light up. Could it be the wire has frayed over time? If not what else could it be?
- How rare is the Ford 500? I recently bought a Ford 500 SEL. Before I bought it, I looked up the make & model on CraigsList to get an idea of its value, and I only found 2 of them for sale. Is the 500 a rare or hard to find car?
