Be sure the master cylinder reservoir is full, then let gravity pull the fluid down to fill the tube. After the fluid begins to flow out of the bleed valve then start normal bleeding having an assistant pump the clutch while you alternate opening then closing the valve. - My '83 Ford Ranger clutch won't release? It started by getting hard to shift into third gear when driving. Soon after, it wouldn't release whatsoever. Got new cylinders. Bled the system for three days. Got another set of new cylinders and bench bled it. Didn't help. The pedal feels mushy. Took the tranny out. No spring loose from the Clutch as some mentioned might be the problem. Everything appears to be as it should be. Any ideas?
