We've all got problems. Some of us are smart enough to actually ask a question when we want answers to them.
Fix the anti-theft flashing light. Put a new battery in your fob. You can try locking the car, opening the car with the key, turn the key to ON (do not start) and leave the key at ON for half an hour until the flashing goes away.
No joy, time for a TOW to a garage.
The imobilizer is shutting off the fuel injectors.
You need the correct transponder key.
- 2000 Ford ranger won't start, but still has power? It has a brand new battery, battery cables, ignition switch, starter, and starter relay. Yet when I get in it has power enough that everything comes on, but if I turn the key once, the entire truck goes dead. I can reset the battery, and the process will begin again. I don't have anymore ideas.
