Ford Ranger air conditioning air output concern

20084.0L Ford Ranger. I'm getting very little air output from the vents. All of the controls seem to work fine. Air gets very cold, just little of it. All of the fan speed settings seem to work, you can tell a difference in output and sound for each setting. What it feels like on high, to me would seem like what it would feel like on low. The two side vents are almost zero output, even on high. The middle vents are not much better. It seems like the fan speeds are low, very low, extra low and whisper low. I've already loosened the housing around the fan motor/blades and it seems to be ok, no dirt or clog. Trying to avoid extensive repair costs or at least diagnose myself. Would like to address this issue before the Texas summer temperatures really get here. Please and thank you for your input.

The system has a filter which could be blocked

Found the issue… Behind the blower motor and or globe box. There's a little metal mesh screen. My guess, used as basic filter for recirculation air inside (max ac). The mesh was completely blocked up, years of parents smoking, moisture, dirt, ect. Shop vac had no effect cleaning it. Cut it out, ac works like a champ now. Its not a cabin air filter, ford said the ranger did not come with one. So i guess it was not ment to come out. But its out now!
