Ford, Chevy, Toyota 4wd truck mpg?

Hi. I'm wanting to get a truck but am unsure what kind to get. It has to 4wd, stick shift, good in winter, good for hunting any game, and able to haul my 2 dirt bikes.
I'm think of Ford, Chevy, and Toyota. The problem though is it has to be able to get 17 or better mpg. All are early 90's.
So, what is the mpg of:
1) f150 with 302 5speed
2) chevy 1500 350 5speed
3) Ford ranger 5speed
4) toyota 22re 4speed
I will also note that I don't hotrod my cars and travel at the average speed of 60.

It is not good to "BABY" any car ever! They NEED to build up pressure in fluids, oils and in lifters and other engine parts! USE FUELECON.GOV to compare them all! FORD and TOYOTA are my picks for trucks! FORD F-150 sis the most POPULAR and wl made truck out there I know of! Most last for 300k miles and MORE! They have best PAY LOAD according to CAR and DRIVER tests as well! I would get a nice used TWIN TURBO AUDI ALLROAD QUATTRO and use a TRAILER On it! The AUDI well tuned gets near 30 MPGS and will accommodate FOUR in total comfort and will NEVER EVER RUST! TRAILERS are easy to hitch and unhitch and EUROPEAN STEELS are the strongest I know of! The AUDI ALLROAD QUATTROs, once a 45k item when new, now sell for about $7-8 on CARGURUS! They are worth EVERY PENNY in technology FORD now uses ECOBOOST and the new MUSTANG now features the AUDI TYPE front suspension with full IRS as well! There are better choices but FORD wins my vote most times!

If your going for gas mileage, if go with Ford, reliability, go with Chevy, and erm… If you want a car that that looks and drives like ****, go with Toyota (the newer ones are good, but any early 90s are gonna kinda suck)

  • What is the actual city MPG of this truck? I'm curious what the city MPG is on the 2000 Ford Excursion Limited diesel 4WD. What's the actual MPG of this vehicle? City only.
  • Ram, Chevy, Ford or Toyota 1/2 ton? I'm looking to get a 1/2 ton truck. I like all the trucks which makes it hard to pick. Right now I have the Ram on top of my list. I would haul and go off road with. Also would use it as a family truck. I'm just looking for the truck that is best overall with power, durability, comfort and convenience. Your input is very appreciated.
  • Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Toyota? Please no jokes or insults: Which is your favorite and why? What is the difference: body type, under the hood, tires, transmission?
  • How can i get better mpg on my truck? I got a 78 Ford f150 but it only gets about 8-10 mpg. Is there any way I can improve my mpg? If I could get it some how up to 15 mpg I'd be a little happier. But I don't know if thats possible
