Ram, Chevy, Ford or Toyota 1/2 ton?

I'm looking to get a 1/2 ton truck. I like all the trucks which makes it hard to pick. Right now I have the Ram on top of my list. I would haul and go off road with. Also would use it as a family truck. I'm just looking for the truck that is best overall with power, durability, comfort and convenience. Your input is very appreciated.

I think aside from the big three (Ford, Chevy, Dodge) the Toyota Tundra is a great truck but has an 'underdog' status. It's big, powerful, well built, more American made parts, good engine, strong transmission, and obviously reliable. I would recommend it since you said you also do off roading… You need a truck that can take a beating and not end up in the shop every week. Some models have this "crawl control" feature which is pretty cool.

Sheep - Ford F-150
Exterior design - Chevy Silverado
Power-Towing - Dodge Ram
All around workhorse - Toyota Tundra

I suggest either the F-150 or the GM I have had all three trucks and learned that Dodge just doesn't seem the best, I feel you'd be happier with the other two. But it's all a matter of opinion.

They all have their advantages. And disadvantages.
I would go with the Ford 3.5 liter eco-boost. Is twin turbo. Has the power of a V8. In 4x4 configuration, gets between 1100 to 1200 kms per tank of gas. Hard to beat. But more costly to repair.

  • Out of ford, GMC, Chevy and ram which is the best in safety, interior size and reliably? I want to get a tuck for my first vehicle but don't have any family who own any and most opinions on reviews are extremely bias.
  • 2018 Ford F-150, 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 or 2018 Ram 1500? I'm looking to buy a new truck. Grew up in a Chevy family and have only owned a Chevy. Traded it in last year to buy something more fuel efficient since i was living in San Antonio. Now that i'm in a smaller town i wanna buy another but i'm undecided. I love Chevy but i wouldnt mind buying a F-150 or Ram if i know they are reliable enough to last me 6-7 years. Give me yalls thoughts and opinions.
  • Chevy vs ford vs dodge(ram)? I know so many people that argue about this but I want facts. I want to read things that are important between the differences, I always hear people talk about tug a war test or just simply yours is in the shop and mine ain t so now what. I want real truck details that set your truck brand apart from others.
